About Me & Examples of Previous Work
I have designed games for 20th century FOX/Disney, Bacardi and others during the last four years whilst working in the pinball industry. I am currently working on another undisclosed popular title and still an active designer for the industry.
Brief Background
Started out with apprenticeship and degree with TATA steel. From apprentice, I moved onto Designer, and worked up to Design Engineer level, totaling 8 years experience in the steel industry. Moving forward I switched to the energy section (pipe work, p&id's etc), from mechanical parts (including FEA Stress analysis) to designing water systems. I also renovated a few offices internally for TATA steel and designed new room layout models which were then also implemented on site.
Travelled USA and most of Canada which was a great experience and I built some good connections with people based all around North America during that time. Also spent a few months working in the US (Texas/Chicago) to help launch the product during trade shows and meet with distributor's.
I joined Heighway Pinball as a Senior Design Engineer but later took on the role of Project Manager/Design Engineer. More can be read on this here. My role in this, was being the only Design Engineer for the product, this involved a heavy workload with tight time constraints to meet such things as show deadlines and licence agreements.
From the initial overhead 2D CAD game proposal given to me from the Chief Pinball Game Designer, I then design, develop and source all parts to make up all the machine, as in mechanisms, chassis, all physical, static and moving parts including the games cabinet, which make up the machine, behind a team of talented people who provide such things as shot layouts, animations and media, graphics, electronics, moulds and software to bring the product together as a whole.

There is another undisclosed title I have done, but unable to disclose due to an NDA. Have been featured on the ITV news and many other networks for the involvement in Heighway. At Heighway we would work with a lot of local manufacturers and I personally have built up a good re pore with these companies who are always willing to assist in the aid of prototyping and manufacture. Currently I now work closely with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.
